When this year’s Parade of Homes kicked off on October 15, Manitobans were enjoying beautiful fall weather. As the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association’s 2022 Fall Parade of Homes comes to an official close, winter weather has finally taken hold.

While the MHBA’s Fall Parade of Homes concludes tomorrow, that doesn’t mean that your chance to visit Manitoba’s newest and finest show homes will end as well. Almost all of the show homes that have been part of this Fall’s Parade will remain open for viewing well after the Parade of Homes ends. MHBA builders have continued to see outstanding crowds visiting the over 100 new homes entered in this year’s Fall Parade of Homes. This year’s entrants certainly did not disappoint, providing an amazing collection of design, style, quality, craftsmanship and choice for viewing during the Parade.

Our Fall and Spring Parades of Homes are showcase events hosted by the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association that demonstrate the best that the new home building industry has to offer. Whether one is in the market for a new home, considering a change or just looking for ideas for their current home, no other Parade of Homes in Canada provides the opportunity for people to experience such a collection of new home concepts, features and decor. For those who were not able to visit show homes during the Parade, you still have plenty of opportunities to visit these beautiful homes. Many of the show homes entered in the Parade are open year-round for viewing. The hours may be slightly different than during the Parade, but the sales representatives in the new homes are still available to help you with your search for the perfect home. So, if you need to take another look at a couple of homes before making your decision, they are open and ready to welcome you.

Nowhere else in Canada can home buyers visit this many unique show homes to gain ideas on how and where to build their new dream home. Only MHBA Builders can enter show homes in our Parade of Homes, you know you are seeing the newest homes being offered by Manitoba’s best and most reputable builders when you visit a Parade Show Home. The winter months provide a great opportunity for new home buyers to visit show homes in between the Fall and Spring Parades. Visiting at this time of year also allows you to see many of the home features, like the heating system and the outdoor lights, in full operation.

A digital version of the Fall Parade magazine is available at the Manitoba Home Builders Association web site at www.homebuilders.mb.ca and will remain posted there right up until next year’s Spring Parade. All the show homes are featured on our Parade of Homes website along with the contact information for each show home builder so that you can connect with them directly to inquire about visiting your favorite show homes, even after the Parade has ended.

We would love to have you visit the various show homes today and tomorrow between 1 and 5 p.m., but if you were unable to get there during the Fall Parade, the homes will still be open afterwards. We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Parade of Homes today!

Lanny McInnes is president of the Manitoba Home Builders’ Association.
