KELOWNA, B.C. – Ty Young stopped all 30 shots he faced and the Prince George Cougars blanked the Kelowna Rockets 3-0 in Western Hockey League play on Tuesday.
The Cougars (17-17-3) opened the scoring with a goal from Cole Dubinsky 16:21 into the first period and Blake Eastman added a short-handed tally before the end of the frame.
Viliam Kmec made it 3-0 with his second goal of the season 14:31 into the second.
