The Minnesota Wild have signed 20-year-old forward Mikey Milne to a three-year entry-level contract, the NHL club announced Wednesday.

The contract is has an average annual value of US$950,000 per season should Milne play in the NHL. His minor league salary is US$82,500.

Milne, who has appeared in one game with the AHL’s Iowa Wild so far this season, was Minnesota’s third round (89th overall) selection in the 2022 NHL Draft.

The 5-foot-11, 187-pound product of Abbotsford, B.C, registered 38 goals and 81 points in 68 games with the WHL’s Winnipeg Ice last seson.

Milne added 13 goals and 19 points in 15 playoff games for Winnipeg.
