WINDSOR, Ont. – Shane Wright had a goal and an assist in his debut for Windsor as the Spitfires defeated the Saginaw Spirit 7-4 on Thursday.

Wright was traded to the Spitfires from the Kingston Frontenacs on Jan. 9 after being reassigned by the NHL’s Seattle Kraken three days prior.

Brett Harrison, with two goals, AJ Spellacy, Matthew Maggio, Michael Renwick and Jacob Maillet also scored for Windsor (24-9-3-1). Joey Costanzo stopped 22 shots.

Dean Loukus had a two-goal effort, while Joey Willis and Olivier Savard added the others for Saginaw (24-12-2), which has dropped two in a row. Tristan Lennox made 23 saves.
