DETROIT — A season-high five-game winning streak is over for the Winnipeg Jets after dropping a 7-5 decision in Detroit on Tuesday.

The Jets fell behind 3-0 early in the game but nearly rallied to tie it on multiple occassions.

Mark Scheifele, Nikolaj Ehlers, Neal Pionk, Nate Schmidt and Sam Gagner scored for Winnipeg. Robby Fabbri, Dylan Larkin, Oskar Sundqvist, Dominik Kubalik, Jake Walman, Lucas Raymond and Jonatan Berggren had the Detroit goals.
