One of Canada’s most celebrated Olympians is coming by the Winnipeg Free Press News Café.
Clara Hughes, the only Canadian to win medals in both the summer (cycling) and winter (speedskating) Games, will sit down for an interview with Geoff Kirbyson at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
She is on a cross-Canada tour in support of her new book, Open Heart, Open Mind.
In it, she reveals she tested positive for ephedrine, a banned substance, in 1994.
Copies of the book will be available for sale at the News Café.
If you’d like to meet Hughes and get a picture or autograph, feel free to drop by and watch the interview live at 237 McDermot Ave.
The event will be livestreamed here.
