A lawyer and former Brandon school trustee announced this morning he will run in the St. Vital municipal byelection.
Brian Mayes, a civil litigator, will run for the council seat occupied by St. Vital Coun. Gord Steeves.
Steeves recently announced he will resign his seat to run for the Tories in the provincial election.
