A significant Canadian delegation is attending today’s state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II in London, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Governor General Mary Simon and several former prime ministers and governors general.

Canadian First Nations, Inuit and Métis leaders are also included in the delegation, along with several Order of Canada recipients taking part in a procession of recipients of national honours.

In addition, members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and representatives of regiments of the Canadian Armed Forces joined uniformed personnel from other Commonwealth countries for the service.

Natan Obed — President of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami

Cassidy Caron — President of the Métis National Council
