Manitoba is going into its second consecutive Easter long weekend under COVID-19 restrictions.
Chief provincial public health officer Dr. Brent Roussin has cautioned against using the time off and sunny weather as an opportunity to gather unsafely. Many of the possible loosened restrictions proposed earlier in March have been put on hold at least until after the holidays.
The Free Press will not publish Good Friday or Monday, however, an e-edition will be available in lieu of home delivery and retail sales at winnipegfreepress.com.
Many businesses and government services change their hours over the Easter long weekend. Here’s a selection:

Beer vendors and private wine stores set their own hours for the holiday, so Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Corp. suggests the best way to find out if the one near you will be open is to call.
