The Mennonite Community Orchestra, in collaboration with the CMU Festival Chorus, will present \u201cNow Is The Time\u2026For Love\u201d, a concert that will explore the importance of love, especially in our modern era. The concert will feature \u201cRomeo and Juliet, Suite No. 2\u201d by Sergei Prokofiev, derived from his ballet adaptation of Shakespeare\u2019s Romeo and Juliet. Our second piece is Srul Irving Glick\u2019s \u201cThe Hour Has Come\u201d. An orchestral setting of a poem by Carole Leckner, this piece is a collaboration between the orchestra and the CMU Festival Chorus, led by Janet Brenneman.<\/p>\n
The Mennonite Community Orchestra\u2019s \u201cNow Is The Time\u2026 For Love\u201d concert will be held March 15th at 3 PM at 181 Riverton Avenue. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, with children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult.
